He also evaluates the business process and requirements, oversees technical capabilities, and collaborates with diverse global teams on initiatives related to digital transformation and automation.

What are you currently working on?

I’m currently contributing to projects like MySkills, NXT-Digital, and RPA-Finance. Additionally, a crucial part of my responsibilities involves empowering and enhancing the technical expertise of peers through continuous guidance and monitoring.

How do you maintain strong work relationships in a hybrid environment?

I build strong work relationships by having regular connects with my teammates as well as through weekly updates, fortnightly or monthly video meets, and one-on-one conversations. It’s also important to be supportive and celebrate achievements, small or big. It even helps to have occasional in-person gatherings and casual chats over coffee to strengthen relationships.

What do you like most about working in the HGS Digital team?

I love the bond we share as a team. The collaborative spirit among us not only brings out the best in each individual but also leads to fantastic outcomes in our projects. The shared guidance and learning experiences combined with our seamless collaboration make every day on the job enriching and enjoyable.

What have been your top three learnings here?

I’ve had the chance to step into the world of digital capabilities, which was entirely unfamiliar to me before I joined this team. Thanks to tremendous support from my leaders and the awesome team at HGS, I've been learning a lot. It's not just about the work. The experience has helped me grow by shaping my career and turning me into a stronger person.

But to list my top three learnings, building digital capabilities and understanding the market scope, project management and budgeting, and new age technology integration with automation would make my cut.

What are some skills you’d like to pick up in the next year or two?

Over the next couple of years, I'm committed to enhancing my skill set for professional growth. My primary focus is on gaining an extensive understanding of digital capabilities, both within and outside of HGS. I aim to become a recognized knowledge expert that clients can rely on. Furthermore, I'm eager to develop my proficiency in project management and explore additional areas to broaden my skill portfolio.

What is your pro tip for people just starting out?

For those embarking on their journey, my pro tip is to embrace continuous learning. Stay curious and be open to acquiring new skills and knowledge. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, as that's where growth happens. Seek feedback regularly and use it as a tool for improvement. Build a strong network of mentors and peers who can provide guidance and support. Remember, every experience, whether success or failure, is a valuable lesson. Stay resilient, be adaptable, and approach challenges with a positive mindset – it's the key to long-term success.
