Syam has been an integral part of the Digital Experience team in Visakhapatnam for the past two years. He specializes in resolving issues and delivering solutions for efficient business operations, in addition to unit testing, and web content management. /p>
What are you currently working on?
I currently focus on unit testing, identifying, debugging, and resolving backend code issues using Python. Additionally, I specialize in content management and leverage AWS services to retrieve logs and identify vulnerabilities in the Web Application. I’m also proficient in utilizing Oracle tools for content management, usage diagnostics, and resolving server issues.
How do you maintain strong work relationships in a hybrid environment?
I maintain strong work relationships by prioritizing regular communication with both in-office and remote colleagues. I schedule check-in meetings, engage in interactions during breaks, and encourage collaborative problem solving. I offer support and seek feedback to adapt and improve our approach, ensuring all team members feel connected and valued.
What do you like most about working in the HGS Digital team?
I appreciate the collaborative environment and the opportunities for professional growth that the HGS Digital team provides. I’ve had the pleasure of working with exceptional people, and I am genuinely happy to be a part of the team. My superiors have been incredibly supportive. They've helped me pursue my goals and provided guidance when I needed it. I'm truly grateful for their support. My colleagues and I communicate openly, without any hesitations, and collaboratively address problems and resolve them effectively without any obstacles./p>
What have been your top three learnings as part of the HGS Digital team?
I have learned how to identify and resolve backend issues and test functionality on the Web Application and Cloud services in AWS.
What are some skills you’d like to pick up in the next year or two?
In the next year or two, I would like to learn Google Cloud services and front-end technologies.
