HGS: Tell us about your education and experience.
Jessica: I have completed my Bsc in Economics and Marketing from the University of the West Indies. With a total of 5 years of working experience, I have been specifically recruiting for the past 2 and a half years. My experience started at EDNA Manley College as a registrar clerk, from where I moved on to the Call Center Pros where I secured the position of Human Resource Manager.
HGS: What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
Jessica: EI look for candidates who possess critical thinking skills, the ability to communicate, an enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to adapt.

HGS: What is a question you never miss asking?
Jessica: I always make sure to ask my candidates about how they would describe the color ‘red’ to a blind person.
HGS: What is your top tip for potential candidates?
Jessica: Research the role that they are applying for so they will be able to have a better understanding of what their job function would be if they turn successful in securing the job.
HGS: What is something that you tell your candidates about HGS?
Jessica: At HGS, we usually share the fact that we are a family here and that we take each other’s interests at heart.
