Job Description
1. Manages the fortnightly payroll (NCB, JMMB, Vistra, Hisense USA and Hisense
Canada) and maintains all relevant information in connection with the payment of
salaries on the payroll system
2. Checks and ensures that salary is correctly computed by the system and any
differences/errors found are promptly corrected
3. Check the completeness of data entered to the Payroll Software by doing spot
checks of source documents and overseeing calculations to validate accuracy.
4. Complete variance reports to show major changes for example increase/decrease
in payroll numbers, headcount, changes in new/separated employee, etc.
5. Balance payroll register for each payroll run, performs reconciliation of the final
reports to the bank upload files and final bank payment file, head count
reconciliation
6. Follow through with Full & Final settlements until closure
7. Prepare journal entries
8. Maintains and compiles financial reports and data in compliance with government
regulations and requirements
9. Do suppliers Zero Ratings on TAJ Portal, send data suppliers and maintain the
respective vendor accounts.
10. Review bank entries and perform bank reconciliation
11. Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closings
12. Assist with the quarterly audits and internal audits
13. Analyse profit & loss and balance sheets general ledger accounts and update
financial records
What we are looking for:
We are in search of a Junior Accountant who will play a key role in processing the payroll in a timely and
accurate manner and working with other team members to produce monthly, quarterly
and annual financial statements that are free from material misstatements on a timely
basis.
Requirements:
• BA/BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent in ACCA exams
• Knowledge of accounting and payroll software will be a plus
• Proven work experience as a Junior Accountant.
• Exceptional organizational abilities.
• Good with numbers and have an analytical mind.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting practices and principles.
• Great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills
