Patricia Dae Reyes - Team Lead

"Hi, my name is Patricia Dae Reyes and I used to be an Assistant Team Leader. Now, I've been promoted to a team leader. Being part of this company, I started to evolve personally in terms of being more aware of my mental health and my team's mental health. I am supportive of my team whenever they have ideas and am able to provide and receive feedback. I've also been able to better understand of different leadership styles and the skills I need to acquire to become the team leader I aspire to be. I deal with a different personalities, which has taught me how to treat people differently based on their personalities. The opportunities given to me to advance my skills in HGS are to be able to handle my own team. Before becoming a team leader, I faced challenges that come with the role and was able to overcome them. This experience helped me improve how I handle such situations. I've also had the chance to closely work with an onshore manager who showed me an unconventional way of leading the team. This has been very inspiring and made me realize the importance of providing different forms of support to my team based on their personalities. I've also been given leadership training to be more of a team player and provide a very good effective constructive criticism to everyone."
