HGS: Tell us about your education and experience.
Efren: : I was an Electronics Engineering student but I shifted my course to Marketing Management because I was aiming for the best to achieve. Even before I graduated, I was absorbed and secured a job as a Sourcing Associate in a BPO where I rendered my internship, and that’s where my BPO career started.
HGS: What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
Efren: For me, some must-have qualities are dedication, skills required for the job position, flexibility, humility, and willingness to learn.
With a willingness to learn great opportunities can be achieved.
HGS: What is a question you never miss asking?
Efren: What is your knowledge or idea about the role you are applying for? If you know your function or at least have an idea for the job you are applying for, you already see the picture of the work you will dedicate yourself to which is a big plus point.
HGS: What’s your top tip for candidates?
Efren: Always have humility, show eagerness, and be prepared for the job interviews. It means doing your research and practicing how you will respond to interview questions.
HGS: What is something that you tell your candidates about HGS?
Efren: HGS is a great company that offers great benefits. It’s not your ordinary BPO company, people working here love the culture and stay for good.
