Dear 22-year-old-self.

First, calm down. The road ahead will be quite the journey and stop always focusing on the finish line.

While the finish is important, it is the items you learn through the journey that really shape you. Second, stop limiting yourself by self-doubt. No one has it all figured out. We are all on our own journey, so stop doubting and start living.

Finally, don’t forget empathy and matters.

Understanding someone else's pros and cons is as important as your own - remember we all have them.

And ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ should always be part of your vocabulary. People want to be acknowledged and appreciated and ifs the simple things that show your appreciation that go a long way.
