1. What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on brand protection initiatives for my clients, an effort to quickly spot copyright infringement and other forms of misuse across text, image, video, and GIF on social platforms. I’m also responsible for growth outside of my current business units and clients.
2. How do you maintain strong work relationships in a hybrid environment?
I host weekly touchbase calls with my clients, where we review an action register that has detailed information on all projects that are in flight, including timeline, next steps, misses, and ownership. This drives accountability for all stakeholders. Internally, my ops team and I are continuously on calls with one another to collaborate on our work. In addition, we travel to one another and to our clients throughout the year.
3. What do you like most about working in the HGS Digital team?
My team. We work as a unit to provide best-in-class social engagement to our clients. We are a well-oiled machine. The support we provide to each other is unlike any other company I have worked for.
4. What have been your top three learnings as part of the HGS Digital team?
The whole world of digital capabilities was new to me. Every day is a learning experience for me. I love speaking with my team and gaining their knowledge. We have some extremely talented people working here at HGS and I get the benefit of their knowledge resources.
5. What are some skills you’d like to pick up in the next year or two?
Education. I want to deepen my understanding on all digital capabilities inside and out of HGS. I want to be the knowledge expert that my clients and future clients can depend on.
6. What is your pro tip for people just starting out?
Play to each other’s strengths and don’t be afraid to speak out.
